We need an antidote for the bad side of life that we’re seeing so much of at the moment.  And there is one!  This simple remedy does all this –

it lightens your load mentally, and induces physical changes to your body.

It increases your intake of oxygen-rich air; stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins  released by your brain. (Endorphins are the feel good hormones!)

It stimulates your circulation and aids muscle relaxation, so helping reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress,

  • it releases neuropeptides that help fight stress and potentially more serious illnesses
  • it can ease pain by causing the body to produce its own natural painkillers
  • it helps you cope with difficult situations and to connect with other people
  • many people have depression, sometimes because of chronic illness. This can help lessen your depression and anxiety and make you feel happier.

This remedy is recommended by the prestigious Mayo Clinic, but there are many other studies showing its benefits, including studies of various helps for people with dementia.

What is it?  Of course, it’s LAUGHTER.  It’s free!

What makes you laugh?
