Thanks to having possibly the best publisher in the world (I’m not telling you his name in case you steal him, but it’s Christian publisher Lion Monarch,) I can post a picture of my new book coming out later this year. It’s written to encourage anyone making the dementia journey, whatever their role. It brushes through the thickets of misunderstanding, obfuscation and grief to reveal practical and spiritual pathways to hope. One of the early reviewers said, ‘It’s uplifting and encouraging and really helpful. Can I keep it?’
Also, you can obtain free entry to Christian Resources Exhibition where on 19th May, I’ll be speaking on ‘Developing Usefulness in Old Age’, and on the following day, the 20th, Janet Janet, former psychogeriatric nurse and care home manager will be speaking on, ‘Dementia, Practical and Spiritual Aspects.’
And come and see us on our Stand, P41! We’d love to hear your stories! CRE is being held in London this year (see http://www.creonline.co.uk/visitors/cre-international-london-2015/.) It’s at the Excel Centre, which is easy to reach by bus and tube.
Once on the website, go to the ‘download ticket’ page and key in code SpCompint15 for your complementary ticket.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
