They’re off! Our Chief Executive Stephen Hammersley and his son Philip are cycling 440 miles between eight of our care homes in the north and east.  They’ll be four and a half days pushing their bikes (and themselves !) to raise money so people with dementia can receive the best, most expert and most loving care, both in our homes and in the community.  (We train other organisations in dementia care.)

Do pray for them, please.  For safety, for energy, and for a good result!

And please consider making a donation to our dementia care, and our training (we don’t charge for our training.)  It’s the only training, as far as we know, that includes the vital, spiritual element.  After one of our training days a nurse wrote, ‘In my 25 years as a nurse this was the best training day I have ever experienced.’   And where employing the new, approach (Hummingbird) in our homes a senior carer said that it was lovely to see people so happy.
