Our next conference is in Godalming Baptist Church, on 26th September.  The focus is on dementia:  how to avoid it,  recognising it, making sure it’s not a pseudo dementia, having a correct diagnosis, getting the right support, looking after yourself,  also taking care of yourself if you’re the main caregiver, knowing how to communicate and handle ‘problem’ behaviour, how churches can give unique help, and so much more.  Local GP Dr Martin Brunet is talking on what to expect from your GP.   You’ll find fellowship and understanding; encouragement and direction, the latest information and directions, and more!

You can book on our website – www.pilgrimsfriend.org.uk        Or email:  [email protected].   Or call:  0300 303 1400The Dementia Kaleidoscope

People tell us that what they learn at our conferences helps them where it matters most – in their real, day to day lives.  ‘What we heard helped me and my family care for my Mum with dementia at home, almost until the very end,‘ said one participant.  ‘You would never think you could attend a conference on dementia and come away inspired and uplifted,’ one participant said to another (and she told us!), ‘but that’s exactly what happened!’
