Don’t be put off by the opening scene or introduction to this film!  She emigrated to Canada from Scotland at the age of 16; got a job in a chocolate shop and yes, she did eat chocolates ‘every day!’

The secret of her long life?  It’s a lot to do with her love of swimming, and she certainly kept fit.   But the really important thing, she says, is having peace, that comes from knowing your sins are forgiven.  She loves Jesus, and she can’t wait to meet Him.  She says she nearly ‘got there’ on two occasions, but she was brought back.

Jessie is an inspiration.
